Remove Stains

As with all stains, you know that the faster you can remove them, the better your chances of getting them off your clothes completely. I already posted an article before on what you shouldn’t do with stubborn stains here. Now I’m giving you some smart solutions to remove them.

BLOOD. Quickly rinse off under cold running water, soak in a solution of biological washing liquid and lukewarm water, then wash; for whites, soak in mild ammonia and water solution then wash; for dried stains, apply hydrogen peroxide then rinse.

CHOCOLATE. Apply biological washing liquid to the stain, sponge are with warm water, then wash.

CRAYON. Dab area with paint thinner, then use heavy-duty detergent containing oxygen bleach to remove remaining stains.

FRUIT AND FRUIT JUICE. Sprinkle borax over the stain to absorb moisture, rinse in cold water, and wash in solution of hot water and detergent; for stubborn marks, treat with solution of diluted bleach and water (1 part bleach to 4 parts water).

INK. Dab unknown ink with nail polish remover; sponge ball-point pen ink stains with rubbing alcohol, then wash as usual using appropriate bleach.

KETCHUP. Scrape off excess, hold the fabric under cold running water, dab area with detergent soap bar, then wash as usual.

MILK. Rinse off under cold running water, then wash using biological detergent.

MUD. Scrape off dried mud, apply biological liquid or soap, then wash as usual.

Baby Hair Loss

I was browsing the internet earlier looking for some tips on how to keep hair getting dull during the cold weather when I stumbled upon procerin reviews. Curious, I clicked on it and was surprised to find out about this weird phenomenon, baby hair loss.

It’s the first time I heard about it. Babies often lose their hair during the first six months, I don’t remember experiencing this with my kids. Apparently, baby hair loss is perfectly normal and nothing to worry about. But you can prevent it by putting them on their stomach or side to go to sleep. Another way is by preventing cradle cap. It can be avoided by moisturizing your baby’s scalp daily and making sure it’s clean and healthy in general.

I read from one blog that to get rid of acne and blemishes, tea tree oil is very effective. Aside from being natural, the oil has powerful properties and is gentle on skin. Experts found that a 5 percent tea tree oil gel reduced acne as effectively as a 5 percent benzoyl peroxide lotion, but with fewer side effects. Just put one or two drops of the essential oil on a cotton swab then dab blemishes.

I wonder if there is also a natural alternative for blackhead removal. I do get them from time to time and I hate using chemical-based creams. I have also tried acne treatments and they don’t work. Any suggestions?

Hunting For A Job

My daughter is graduating from college next month. I can see how determined she is to work right away because she already started hunting for jobs. She found a job search site from the internet and have submitted her resumè to several companies. I told her to take it easy and rest for a while after graduation. I even suggested that she go and visit her cousins in NY but she’s pretty set on working right away, telling me that NY can wait.

Tired of yo-yo dieting, I’ve always been tempted to resort to diet pills. I’ve been hearing so much about these wonder pills and how effective they are in helping you lose weight fast, especially Hydroxycut. It is so popular, even my friends are raving about it. Well, if it works effectively then I would like to try it. What’s stopping me? I’m not sure about the hydroxycut side effects. Not all diet pills works the same with people and surely, each one of them has its side effects. That’s what I’m really afraid of. Hmmm, maybe I should ask my doc first.
