A Beautiful Log Bed

I’m not much of a fan of log beds but I have to admit that I fell in love with one at the resort where we stayed in Boracay. It was a few years ago already but I suddenly remembered the beautiful log bed when I found one that’s almost exactly like the one in the resort. I was surfing the net for home interiors when I landed on that page.

It’s beautiful, isn’t it? If only that would fit in our room, then I would love to have it. How, I wish we had a bigger room.

MY Dream Vacation Home

Did you ever wish you had your own vacation home? Oh, I’ve always wanted one! Imagine your own place to go to when the kids are on vacation or just a place to unwind when you feel stress is starting to buildup. Or a place you could lease to others when not in use. Yup, I have long dreamed of that.

If I only have the money to spare for my getaway right now, I would take advantage of the Outer Banks foreclosures. Having a place of your own and earning from it at the same time is just perfect.

Music Lovers

I passed by the mall with my boys (hubs and son) yesterday. A supposedly quick trip to buy a few things turned out to be more than an hour and a half. Why? The boys made a side trip to the toy store. In 20 minutes I was done with my errands so I went to the meeting place to wait for them. After waiting for 10 minutes, I decided to look for them. Oh, there weren’t at the toy store they were at the third floor looking at the shiny set of stainless steel drums! Both boys love to listen to music but I didn’t have any idea my son wanted to learn to play drums. I’ll have to call my friend and ask if gives drum lessons too.

The Trick To Loose Sunglasses

Wearing your shades as a headband is a quick fashion fix, but doing so results to stretched-out frames. To get them back into shape, immerse the glasses in a bowl filled with hot tap water for 1 minute. Then take them out, using tongs if the water is too hot, and slowly push the frame’s arms towards each other. The heat from the water will make the plastic arms (and the metal wire inside) flexible enough to bend back into their original position. And the plastic will set as soon as it cools.

Sea Of Red

My husband enjoys watching F1 races and Ferrari is his favorite team. When I first heard the word Tifosi, I asked him what it meant. He said, a true Ferrari fan is called a Tifosi. So if you are familiar and you see all those people on the bleachers wearing red, they are the Tifosis.

A Ferrari car is not seen here often because only a few owns a ferrari so it’s definitely a head-turner. Hubs has a friend who has a Modena. He loves it so much that he takes really good care of it. He even made advance orders of Ferrari parts and had them shipped home just in case something goes wrong with his precious car. Hubs knows that he wouldn’t settle for anything less. Can’t blame him, it’s an expensive car and surely, hubs would do the same if he were in his shoes.
