My husband enjoys watching F1 races and Ferrari is his favorite team. When I first heard the word Tifosi, I asked him what it meant. He said, a true Ferrari fan is called a Tifosi. So if you are familiar and you see all those people on the bleachers wearing red, they are the Tifosis.

A Ferrari car is not seen here often because only a few owns a ferrari so it’s definitely a head-turner. Hubs has a friend who has a Modena. He loves it so much that he takes really good care of it. He even made advance orders of Ferrari parts and had them shipped home just in case something goes wrong with his precious car. Hubs knows that he wouldn’t settle for anything less. Can’t blame him, it’s an expensive car and surely, hubs would do the same if he were in his shoes.

My brother and his family are off to Las Vegas this weekend. He chose to rent an RV for the trip instead of flying. They want to take the long drive because they want to enjoy the scenic views and make the most out of their vacation. But he’s not taking any chances to spoil their trip this time around, he made sure good sam roadside assistance will be there in case the RV breaks down. It happened to them last year when the RV left them stranded for hours on their way to Florida.

Our friends motorhome is quite old. It’s still in good condition but it has its bad days. I has some sentimental value and he wants to hold on to it. It has seen many vacations with his family. Bit there were times when their trips are ruined when their RV would have its rare tantrums. Repairs can be expensive at times. So he took out a mechanical breakdown insurance for it. It still has its bad days from time to time but it doesn’t burn a hole in pocket now.

Hubs was at his friend’s car accessories shop the other day. He went there to have his car tints removed. Lately, he’s having trouble driving at night with dark tints. He met an accident last week when he bumped into an island, one of his mags was damaged and the cost of repair almost broke our bank. I also accompanied him to the optical shop yesterday to pick up his new specs. With new specs and no tints, I won’t be worrying too much even if he is driving alone.

I’m glad that my dad finally had a cargo liner installed in his truck. He was so concerned about the typhoons and floodings we’ve had lately. He is right, it’s better to have a protection than to be sorry later. So many cars have been damaged by the major flooding the other day and it’s sad that even with comprehensive insurance, repairs for cars that have been damaged by floods are not covered.

Hubs is a big fan of Schumi, so just imagine how sad he felt when the guy retired. But even without Schumi racing, a Tifosi he will remain, haha. That’s how loyal he is to Ferrari. He never misses a race and is always talking about Ferrari parts. His dream? To drive his own Ferrari! Now my son is taking up to him and is also a big fan of Felipe Massa. Both are collecting miniature models and were overwhelmed when they went to the car show.
