If not for Typhoons Ondoy and Pepeng, the government will not lift a finger and relocate those people who live near the rivers and other flood prone areas.  They started building low-cost housing using manufactured home/pre-fabricated materials, and were able to move about a hundred families last week.  They said, there are more to come.  I hope they’ll finish more houses soon, more homeless families are waiting to be relocated.
