broken umbrella

It is raining outside and you need to go out.  But oh no!  The only umbrella you can scrounge up has one floppy broken rib.  Fast fix?  Cut dental floss into a few 2′ long pieces, then using a sewing needle, thread the floss through the fabric part of the umbrella, tying it back to the spokes.  The heavy duty water resistant string will keep your umbrella firmly in place.
