I read from one blog that to get rid of acne and blemishes, tea tree oil is very effective. Aside from being natural, the oil has powerful properties and is gentle on skin. Experts found that a 5 percent tea tree oil gel reduced acne as effectively as a 5 percent benzoyl peroxide lotion, but with fewer side effects. Just put one or two drops of the essential oil on a cotton swab then dab blemishes.
I wonder if there is also a natural alternative for blackhead removal. I do get them from time to time and I hate using chemical-based creams. I have also tried acne treatments and they don’t work. Any suggestions?

1There are lots of essential oils that are good for your skin. Tea tree oil is one of them. Patchouli and Lavender are also great for various skin ailments as well as many other things like nervousness and anxiety. Eucalyptus is great for the skin, ailing muscles and colds… there are others as well.. those are just a few common ones. Now… if they are therapeutic grade they can be applied directly to the skin but not if they are pure because it can be too strong. You could want to mix it with a carrier oil then..
With as deep as it would need to go for a blackhead.. I would recommend trying steam treatment, (head over bowl of hot water with a towel over your head… like when you have a cold… with a few drops of your chosen essential oil in the water… this way it will open your pores right up… be careful that the water isn’t TOO hot though… don’t want anyone to burn their face on the steam.
Hot bath can work too especially for the rest of the body.
