Kids love to play with dough, I remember when my daughter was younger, she would ask me to buy every time a new set comes out. She had the flower factory, the Mc Donald’s burger set, Noah’s Ark and the list goes on. They were expensive back then so I’m sure they are more costly nowadays. If only I had known that these doughs are so easy to make, then I wouldn’t have spent that much on doughs. 🙂
Doughs are not only perfect for poking and pounding but it can also boost your child’s brain power. While providing entertainment and hours of fun, it can improve hand strength, dexterity and motor skills. When your child digs into play dough, she’s not only building little figures and shapes but she’s actually building her brain.
Here’s the recipe…
Mix ingredients in order of list in saucepan over medium heat. Stir until smooth. Remove from pan and when slightly cool, knead smoothly. Cool fully and store in plastic bag or airtight container.
