Flowers do not only make a room look pretty, they definitely cheer you up. And what better way to make them stay as pretty as they are than to air dry them.
The process of air drying works best with hardier blooms like hydrangeas, roses and chrysanthemums. Choose the ones that have just opened, mature stems will lose their petals when hung.
Here’s how to do it. Remove the leaves, clip in a trouser and suspend in a cool, dark, dry place, like a pantry or closet. It usually takes two weeks for the flowers to dry. You can use them in wreaths, blooming bouquets, or just simply hang them on a wall.
