vasesAre you having problems cleaning your slim-necked vases?  I used to, until I found about this trick from a friend.  You can forget about scrubs and bottle brushes because there’s an easier way to remove the gunk at the bottom of a narrow-necked vase.  Simply fill the vessel with hot water and drop in two antacid tablets (alkaseltzer will be fine).  When the fizzing stops, rinse the vase with water.  The antacid contains citric acid and sodium bicarbonate, which dislodge the gummy plant buildup.  You’ll have a sparkling vase in minutes.
