Two weeks ago my daughter fell ill.  She came down with an infection and needed to be admitted to a hospital.  After I got the request from her attending, I went to the admitting office to ask for a room.  The first thing the staff asked me is if we had health care coverage.  I replied “Yes” as my husband had enrolled the entire family for a health care plan.  Had it not been for Blue Cross of NC, I don’t know how we could have managed the hospital and medication bills.   Our coverage will be expiring in a couple of months and we’re definitely renewing.
