If last night’s rainstorm left your gutter downspout clogged with leaves, here’s a simple trick to eliminate leaves. Simply snake an old garden hose up the spout until it pokes through the blockage. The tubing will create an opening for stagnant water to escape, releasing built-up pressure and flushing out the remaining debris.
