It’s the time of the year again when you do a lot of baking, and it’s frustrating when you go to retrieve a cup of flour or sugar from your opaque canisters or colored jars only to find out there isn’t enough left for your recipe. To keep track of your supplies, start placing a rubber band around each container, lining it up with the level of the contents inside. Then move the band down as you use more. This makes it easy to see at a glance how much you have left.
