My favorite watch had a scratch on it’s face and not wanting  to spend on repair right away, I thought of searching the web if I can do it on my own.  I found out that if the watch is made of acrylic, a type of plastic crystal, it can be repaired.  To do:  For light scratches, dab plain white toothpaste onto a clean cloth and rub the watch face.  Rinse with a damp cloth, and repeat the process until the scratch vanishes.  I have tried it and the scratch disappeared.  🙂

For deeper scrapes, you’ll need to bring it to a professional watch repair man.  Have him take a look so he can recommend whether you need to replace the part.
