Has your remote control gotten finicky over the years? It could be that the little spring that holds the batteries in place has weaken over time. This loosens the connection making your remote to become dead at times. The repair is simple: Fold a piece of aluminum foil until it is 1/2′ to 1″ wide and wedge it between the battery and loose spring. The conductive aluminum will fill up the extra space while allowing electricity to flow, giving your remote years of new life. Replace the foil as needed.
