Every year when you leave for a vacation, your indoor plants dry out.  And this time, it worries you because it takes a while to nurse them back to life.  Here’s a little trick to keep them flourishing for up to two weeks on their own.

Water the plant generously, then cover it with a grocery bag or bubble wrap, make sure you secure it with a string around the base.  The sealed environment creates a self-sustaining terrarium, where evaporated moisture collects on the plastic until it trickles back down into the soil like rain.
