If you worry that your vintage lace doilies and table linens will start to yellow in storage, this simple trick I found will help ward of discoloration.  To do:  Place a sheet of wax paper between each piece of fabric (or between layers of folded linen).  The paper’s smooth protective coating will form a breathable barrier against extraneous light and moisture, which will prevent problems like fading, yellowing and/or dye transference.
